Beautycounter does their due diligence when it comes to ingredient safety and not only bans over 1800 ingredients (even more strict than EU standards), but they test every single ingredient against 23 safety endpoints like carcinogenicity, fertility, endocrine disruption, total toxic accumulation, allergies, birth defects, and more. They then go on to test every single finished product for trace contaminants like heavy metals and phthalates.
